Dr. Yuriy Ivanov is a highly skilled specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He welcomes patients at multiple locations in Long Island for the treatment of variety of sports, brain, spine, pain and musculoskeletal conditions. In addition to practicing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Ivanov also specializes in Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, Neuromodulation and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. Dr. Ivanov is dedicated to improving his patients’ quality of life by restoring function.

Dr. Ivanov graduated from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He then completed a rotating internship at the Nassau University Medical Center. Rotating through different specialties allowed him to become a well-rounded physician before specializing and completing his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Ivanov then went onto further sub specialize by completing the prestigious Pain Fellowship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center.

Dr. Ivanov has authored multiple publications and book chapters on a variety of musculoskeletal and pain conditions. He is involved with national and international societies and has developed programs for physician mentorship and collaboration. In addition to being a busy practitioner, Dr. Ivanov is also working on improving healthcare abroad. He had previously travelled to the mountainsides of El Salvador, where he delivered aid and medical care to disadvantaged people.

Dr. Ivanov is fluent in English, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian, which makes him widely accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. He understands the needs of his patients and treats every person with the compassion, respect, and attention they deserve.
